Fifty years after the constitution of our first waste management company, as pioneers in first waste management company as pioneers in Andorra, at L’Home del Sac we continue to grow. Committed to continuous improvement in the quality of our services and to services and in guaranteeing the safety of all our employees and clients, we have opened a recycling plant in Aixovall, concretament, al Prat de l’Avensader, Carretera Secundària, 110.
Thus, the plant located at Carretera del Rosselló, in la Comella, has been moved to the new location. From 01 March 2023 the reception of construction waste such as Formigó, maó, stones, earth, chalk and sand in general, as well as ceramics, wood, plastics, mixedmetals, glass, paper, coal and different types of bulky waste, is carried out in the new facilities, where we carry out the selection and sorting for its correct recycling.
Facilities with more space, optimum organisation and greater security, that offer modernity and better access. In short, an investment that will allow us to continue growing and improving the service to our customers, taking care of the health of our planet.
It should be noted that the recycling of these types of materials brings different economic and environmental benefits. Firstly, it saves space in controlled landfills and prevents them from ending up in illegal landfills. It contributes to energy savings by reducing the extraction of natural resources, as well as the manufacture of new building materials, reducing costs and encouraging the hiring of more workers.
